L'incontournable grillade de Valleyfield

he Valleyfield bacon grillades are slices of unsmoked pork belly seasoned with special "Valleyfield" spices and grilled. They are traditionally served "lousses," meaning on their own in a cone or bag, similar to fries, or in a sandwich on white bread with tomatoes, onions, and yellow mustard. In recent years, the creativity of some restaurateurs has led to discovering truly delicious variations. This typical dish is part of the Campivallensian DNA and is well-known throughout Quebec.

Where to enjoy them?

Throughout the year at Microbrasserie du Vieux Canal, Le Bidon, Patate Taz, and on Fridays and Saturdays in the summer at the legendary Taverne Grand Trunk. At Resto Jazz, you can find unique recipes like glazed grillade bites or sushi with grillades on the menu.
