The City of Salaberry-de-Valleyfield boasts an exceptional flat cycling network with multiple links between neighbouring networks that were created in recent years to forms the Suroît cycling network.
Salaberry-de-Valleyfield offers 70 km of bike paths between its parks and the shore of spectacular Lake Saint-François. It also lies at the heart of a 130 km network of paved, multi-use paths on flat terrain and a unique 65 km circuit known as the Parcours des canaux.
Ranked among the 10 most memorable bike rides in Quebec by the 2015 Ulysses Travel Guide, the regional cycling network provides access to more than 140 km of mostly paved, flat bike paths.
Set out from the town centre and discover the scenery along the banks of the Beauharnois Canal, the Soulanges Canal and Lake Saint-François.
The Beauharnois-Salaberry regional park offers mon than 15 rest stops along its route, most of which are by the water, with all the facilities you could wish for to let you enjoy the perfect day of cycling and picnicking with the family.
