The Îles-de-Saint-Timothée regional park is essentially two islands located in the Saint-Timothée basin. Its character changes with the seasons, offering visitors a plethora of activities all year round. In summer, enjoy the beautiful sandy beach with its crystal clear water, volleyball courts, hiking trails, children’s play structures, snack bar and picnic areas. You can also rent pedal boats, canoes, kayaks and paddle boards (SUP). In winter, the park offers snowshoeing and sledding. There’s always something to do in this magnificent natural park, no matter the season! A destination to discover.

SUP (Stand Up Paddle) and Kayaking

Enjoy paddling in the island basin with your own craft until approximately mid-October. Outside of the peak summer season, you can use the launch dock located to the west of the parking lot free of charge.

Important Guidelines:

  • Avoid the dam: Never approach the dam and follow the posted signs.
  • Respect the buoys: Do not cross the buoy lines of the beach with your craft.

BIKE PATH

The 7.7 km loop on the Îles-de-Saint-Timothée gives you access to the Beauharnois-Salaberry region’s cycling network and the Les Cèdres-Salaberry-de-Valleyfield maritime shuttle.

TRAIL

The park features a picturesque 2.5 km long multipurpose trail on flat terrain, which crosses through two protected woodlands and runs along the water and the two beaches. Interpretation panels provide information about the surrounding natural environment.

WINTER

Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and fat bikes are permitted on the park’s trails.

BEACH

Safe, supervised golden sandy beach known for the clarity and quality of the water

2024 summer schedule : open every day from June 15 to August 18 as well as the weekends of August 24-25-31 and September 1-2 2024.

Open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Capacity : 1 000 persons

Non residents : reservation required (online ticketing, tickets on sale 48 hours in advance)
