Old Canal

Advantageously located in the heart of downtown Salaberry-de-Valleyfield leading to Lac Saint-François, the Old Beauharnois Canal is positioned as an essential meeting place for boaters in Quebec and a place of entertainment and unique contemplation for land visitors.

Heritage property classified since 2012, the site offers 280 meters of promenade along the shore and proposes the following services :

• Overnight stays at the transit platform with or without service, by reservation at Marina Valleyfield (Important : The access bridge to the canal opens at each hour and not on demand, so plan your stroll accordingly)
• La Cale terrace-bar
• Shows presented on the floating stage 2 or 3 times/week (see calendar : https://www.destinationvalleyf...)
• Equipment rental (kayaks, pedalboats and bikes)
• Landing stage for launching small non-motorized boats open to the public (kayaks, canoes, etc.)
