What to do as a couple?
To have a great time with your significant other, whether for a birthday, a special occasion, or just to escape the daily grind, make a trip to Salaberry-de-Valleyfield.

Upon arrival, hop on your bike to explore the extensive network of bike paths. Along the way, the water features, rest areas, and attractions will captivate you.
Before heading out on your bike, consider preparing a picnic. Several local eateries can prepare a perfect lunchbox for you: here.
Upon your return, you'll probably want to cool off. Why not rent a jet ski from Récréation Marine and enjoy a ride on the water together?
For a pre-dinner drink, stop by Bar-terrasse La Cale. Located right on the water, along the Old Canal, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy the summer. Live music performances on the floating stage take place several times a week. Be sure to check the schedule.
When dinner time arrives, choose between Meraki or Resto Jazz for a romantic evening.
For a restful night’s sleep, here are our two recommendations:
- Choose Hôtel Moco for its renovated rooms and classic comfort.
- Alternatively, opt for a unique stay in a floating cabin at Flotel.
Upon waking up, rent a paddleboard or kayak. The rental kiosk is right next to your room if you stayed on the water, or just a short walk away otherwise. The bay and its fountain are waiting for you.
Then, enjoy breakfast at one of the downtown restaurants here.
Take a trip to MUSO (Museum) to visit one of the featured exhibitions.
On your way back home, why not stop by one of the nearby vineyards: Cortellino Vineyard, J.O. Montpetit Vineyard, or Pomone Vineyard?
