An 8 km cycling route located in the middle of the St. Lawrence River !
Here’s an easy yet stunning loop that takes you through the islands and dams of Hydro-Québec's basin. The route connects the Parc régional des Îles-de-Saint-Timothée and its beach to the Les Cèdres – Salaberry-de-Valleyfield ferry service between the Fête des Patriotes (May 18, 2024) and Thanksgiving (October 14, 2024). The ferry allows you to reach the Soulanges bike path in just a few minutes. This crossing is optional, but the loop itself is worth the trip.
- 6 km on bike path
- 2 km on road (safe for families)
- Parking: Saint-Laurent Street, across from the Saint-Timothée Church.
Please note: The loop is not accessible between November 15, 2024, and spring 2025, as access to the islands and Hydro-Québec basins is closed.
